Everyone asks me how traveling alone is. But the truth is so far I have barely been alone! In fact yesterday was the first time that I got on a bus by myself. (This also means yes, I finally left Split). And it was okay. I definitely miss my friends in split and the fun (as well as trials and tribulations) of discovering somewhere new with someone else. For example...picture this. I get off the bus in Zagreb at 9pm, went to information about 5 times yet still managed to take the tram in the wrong direction, then tried to reboard a different tram going the right direction only to have a lady on the street yell at me. Apparently I was trying to board the tram while it was stopped at a street intersection and not a tram stop and, well, you’re not supposed to do that. as indicated by the fact that the doors never opened... Then I couldn’t reach the guy I was staying with, he wasn’t there and now its 10pm and oh did I mention I forgot my map? And I'm not even traveling with a guidebook. So yeah well...
